1939 Street Scene. Right to left: Hotel Hayes, Burks Air Conditioning - May Tag Products - Tin shop in Rear, Bowling, Dixon Appliance Co.,Radio Sales - Philco Radio, Ideal Confectionary, Street, Drive Inn Cafe.
The bowling alley was a small duck pin type; but highly entertaining. Our full size alley came some time after this.
Odessa High School Grads that meet the first Thursday of each month 6:00 PM - Western Sizzler on 17th and North Grant; vouch this was the east side of North Grant between 5th & 6th Street.
