Odessa's newest museum Gertrude Bruce Historical Cultural Center, 1020 East Murphy is
hosting the Tuskegee Airmen exhibit. The exhibit's first stop outside the CAF is on
display in a separate room with various audio visual programs. Sit down and read the
exhibits and enjoy the shows. You'll be glad you did.
The center was renovated 3 years ago with funding from Heritage of Odessa Foundation. The Center serves as a museum for items and happenings in the history of Odessa and other areas. Your author was pleased to find a photograph of Douglas school that has long been demolished and the land restored to a play area. Other details and photographs on additional pages.
